MG Motor India has introduced a new variant to its Windsor EV lineup—the ‘Exclusive Pro’. This latest addition is priced at Rs 12.25 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India) under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, and Rs 17.25 lakh if purchased outright. Bookings for this variant have commenced for a token amount of Rs 11,000, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first week of June 2025.

The Windsor EV Exclusive Pro sits between the Essence and Essence Pro variants. It brings the larger 52.9 kWh battery pack—previously available only on the top-end Pro models—within a more accessible price range. The claimed range is 449 km (MIDC), making it a compelling offering for EV buyers.
MG Windsor Pro Exclusive Pricing
The Exclusive Pro variant is Rs 85,000 more affordable than the top-spec Essence Pro. Compared with the Essence variant (with a 38 kWh battery), the Exclusive Pro commands a premium of Rs 1.10 lakh for the whole vehicle. Under the BaaS scheme, the price difference narrows to Rs 25,000. However, the battery rental fee for the Exclusive Pro is higher at Rs 4.5/km.

MG Windsor Pro Features
The MG Windsor EV Exclusive Pro comes in three exterior colour options—Pearl White, Starry Black, and Turquoise Green. It does not offer the Clay Beige shade or any new colours introduced with the Essence Pro. The vehicle features 18-inch machined alloy wheels and retains the familiar exterior design of the Windsor range.
The cabin follows the new Ivory White and Black theme introduced with the Essence Pro. The Exclusive Pro includes several features such as a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 9-speaker Infinity audio system (four speakers, four tweeters, and a subwoofer), connected car technology, ambient lighting, a 135-degree reclining rear seat, a 360-degree camera, leatherette upholstery, and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster.
However, it does not include the fixed glass roof, ventilated front seats, a PM2.5 air filter, or the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). These omissions are also visible in the available images, which lack ADAS badging and roof elements.
Windsor Exclusive Pro Specs

Rivals
With the launch of the Exclusive Pro variant, the MG Windsor EV is now available in five variants. This expanded lineup positions MG more competitively in the electric SUV segment. The Windsor EV continues to rival the Tata Nexon EV (Rs 12.49 lakh to Rs 17.19 lakh) and the Mahindra XUV400 EV.
The Exclusive Pro variant enhances the value proposition by offering a long-range battery and a rich feature set at a relatively affordable price point, strengthening MG Motor’s presence in the growing EV market.
