Tata Motors has officially released detailed specifications for the Harrier EV, marking the brand’s entry into the premium electric SUV segment. Three Powertrain Options with Dual Battery Packs
The Harrier EV offers three distinct powertrain configurations:
- Entry-level (RWD, 65 kWh):
Equipped with a 65 kWh battery and a rear-mounted motor producing 238 PS and 315 Nm. It offers a MIDC-certified range of 538 km and an estimated real-world range of 420–445 km. DC fast charging from 20–80 percent takes 25 minutes using a 100 kW charger, while a full AC charge on a 7.2 kW unit takes 9.3 hours. - Mid-tier (RWD, 75 kWh):
Uses the same motor output (238 PS, 315 Nm) with a larger 75 kWh battery. MIDC range increases to 627 km, with a real-world range of 480–505 km. DC fast charging is rated at 120 kW, maintaining the 25-minute charging time. AC charging takes approximately 10.7 hours. - Top-spec (AWD, 75 kWh Dual Motor):
Combines a 75 kWh battery with a front induction motor and rear permanent magnet synchronous motor. Together, they deliver 396 PS and 504 Nm. The AWD setup enables 0–100 km/h in 6.3 seconds with Boost mode. MIDC range is 622 km, with a real-world range of 460–490 km.
Variant Lineup and Features
The Harrier EV is available in six variants grouped into three series:
- Adventure Series (65 kWh): Adventure 65 and Adventure S 65
- Fearless+ Series (65/75 kWh): Fearless+ 65 and Fearless+ 75
