Hyundai India has recorded over 51,000 bookings for the Creta facelift within a month of its booking commencement. Bookings for the 2024 Creta opened in the first week of January, with prices announced on January 16.
Design and Exterior Options
The Hyundai Creta is available in seven variants. Apart from variants, customers can choose from six monotone shades (Robust Emerald Pearl, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey) and one dual-tone option (Atlas White with a black roof). The 2024 Creta received comprehensive design changes both inside and out.
Interior and Features
The 2024 Creta facelift features a 10.25-inch integrated dual-screen for infotainment and the driver’s display. Includes dual-zone AC, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and ventilated front seats.
It also comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
It gets advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep and departure assist, and automatic emergency braking.
Powertrain and Performance
- Engine Options: Available with a 1.5-litre NA petrol, a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (160 PS / 253 Nm), and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
- Transmission Choices: Includes a six-speed manual, six-speed iVT, six-speed automatic, and a seven-speed DCT unit.
- Turbo-Petrol Engine: The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine is currently limited to the dual-clutch transmission (DCT), with a potential manual transmission option in the future Hyundai Creta N Line.
Pricing and Competition
The 2024 Hyundai Creta is priced between Rs. 11 lakh and Rs. 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom pan India). With this pricing and its position the 2024 Creta competes with Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, and Citroen C3 Aircross.
