Audi has introduced the A4 Signature Edition in the Indian market, priced at ₹57.11 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition sedan brings a refreshed styling package and new feature additions while retaining the same mechanical setup. Interestingly, despite these updates, the Signature Edition is priced identical to the top-end Technology trim, offering added value at no extra cost.

Design
The Audi A4 Signature Edition receives subtle cosmetic enhancements that provide it with a distinctive character. On the exterior, it features ‘Audi rings’ decals on the rear doors, dynamic wheel hub caps, a new set of alloy wheels, and a boot-lid spoiler. These elements work together to lend the car a sportier and more exclusive appeal.
Buyers can choose from five exterior colours –
1) Glacier White Metallic
2) Mythos Black Metallic
3) Navarra Blue Metallic
4) Progressive Red Metallic
5) Manhattan Grey Metallic.
These shades have been carefully curated to highlight the A4’s elegant silhouette.
Cabin Experience
Inside the cabin, the Signature Edition delivers a heightened sense of luxury. It features natural grey oak wood inlays, stainless steel pedal covers, and a new fragrance dispenser, all of which enhance the overall interior experience. Additional details include LED puddle lamps that project the Audi logo and customisable key covers.
The most significant new feature is the Park Assist system with a 360-degree camera, which simplifies parking in tight spaces. These additions are complemented by an already extensive list of features that includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone climate control, powered front seats with memory function, a Bang and Olufsen 19-speaker 3D sound system, wireless phone charging, and 30-colour ambient lighting.
Powertrain
There are no changes under the hood. The Signature Edition continues to use the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a 12V mild-hybrid system. This setup produces 204 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque and is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Audi claims the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 7.1 seconds, with a top speed of 241 kilometres per hour. This ensures both brisk performance and refined highway driving.
Limited availability and what lies ahead for the A4
The Audi A4 Signature Edition will be available in limited numbers, targeting customers who seek exclusivity in a familiar package. The timing of this release is significant, as the current-generation A4 is nearing the end of its lifecycle. Although Audi India has not officially announced a timeline, the Signature Edition may serve as the final chapter for the A4 in the Indian market.
Wrap Up
With the introduction of the A4 Signature Edition, Audi has successfully blended refined design upgrades and enhanced features without raising the price. For customers in search of a luxury sedan that distinguishes itself through aesthetics and technology, while maintaining performance standards, this limited edition A4 presents a highly appealing proposition.
