First G-Class Inspired by India

This special edition represents a significant milestone for Mercedes-Benz, as it is the first G-Class model designed with India-specific elements. The Collector’s Edition comes two new matte-finish colour options: Mid Green Magno, inspired by Indian monsoons, and Red Magno, referencing the iron-rich soil of the region.

Each unit is uniquely marked with a “One of Thirty” plaque mounted on the spare wheel cover, reinforcing the exclusivity of this limited series. The SUV also features a unique side protection strip finish and bold 22-inch AMG-spec gold alloy wheels.

Interior

The two-tone Manufaktur Catalana Beige and Black Nappa leather upholstery creates a rich, premium ambiance. Open-pore natural walnut wood trim adds texture and warmth to the dashboard.

One of the standout features is the customisable engraving option on the dashboard grab handle, allowing each owner to personalise their vehicle. While the core dashboard layout remains unchanged, it includes twin 12.3-inch displays, turbine-style AC vents, and signature AMG switchgear.

Features

The G 63 Collector’s Edition offers the full suite of luxury and technology that Mercedes-Benz customers expect. Standard equipment includes the MBUX infotainment system, Burmester 3D surround sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, a sunroof, ventilated and massaging front seats, wireless charging, and a 360-degree camera system.

These features, combined with AMG’s trademark rugged styling, create a balance of luxury and performance.

Powertrain

Mechanically, the Collector’s Edition remains unchanged from the standard G 63. Powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which produces 585 PS and 850 Nm of torque. A 48V mild-hybrid system is also paired which contributes an additional 22 PS for improved responsiveness.

The G 63 Collector’s Edition accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, delivering high-performance driving dynamics in a full-size luxury SUV.

Availability

The AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition is not available for general retail purchase. It is offered exclusively to existing Mercedes-Benz top-end luxury car owners in India. Deliveries for this special edition are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.

With a ₹66 lakh premium over the standard AMG G 63, this edition brings unmatched exclusivity and a distinctly Indian identity to the G-Wagon lineup. Competing against other ultra-luxury SUVs such as the Range Rover, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, and Lexus LX 600, the G 63 Collector’s Edition stands out with its combination of heritage, performance, and bespoke design.
